Menstrual stigma is the most basic and common manifestation of misogyny! Periods are no different than any other biological process in humans.

Having menstrual cramps is one of the most common, annoying parts of my period. They can strike right before or during that time of the month. Many women get them routinely. You’ll feel these cramps in your lower belly or back — sometimes both. 😭😭😭😭

Menstrual Cramps are Very Painful Walayii!!!

They can vary from mild to severe or Crazy Severe — Mine is usually severe. Some people say that with age, they usually become less painful and may stop entirely after you have your first baby — This is not quite true for every lady.

Is it the fact that I constantly deal with a stabbing pain in my stomach or feel like someone is poking me in the gut with all their strength and it’s hard to focus on anything else? Or times when crying, screaming, and rolling on the floor naked can’t stop the pain and some months I have to take an overdose of Felvin if I want to go to work or at least get up.
